My path and purpose
Creativity, connection and growth are fundamental drivers for me.
Over the past 15 years I’ve worked with a variety of government, cultural, education and community organisations, across New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Queensland. These have been enriching roles with strategy and governance, funding programs, community and infrastructure services, as well as STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) and arts education.
For two years, I lived in remote Arnhem Land and worked with Indigenous leaders towards their vision for the Homeland communities. I crafted and led strategic programs and storytelling initiatives to support economic development, affirming community resilience and the power of Yolngu culture.
I believe in the power of storytelling to inspire, empower and to co-create realities. This draws on my own hard-won experience in facing the spotlight, achieving a Master thesis on narrative, and years working with others to develop compelling interviews and storyscapes.
At heart, I have always been an artist, driven to explore how we create meaning in connection with others. The creativity that underpins my unique take on business strategy also drives my art, although my creations now often align more closely with my two-year-old’s artistic vision!
Embracing such collaborative and innovative approaches, I am also applying current MBA studies to bridge business and community models for success.
I value the vibrancy, interconnectedness and resilience in our regional communities, and am invested in supporting people living major Australian centres.
These days I live near Byron Bay with my little family. We are so grateful to be here, and respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Bundjalung Nation.
I’m the person that’s ready to ask the hard questions, to cross boundaries and look a little deeper, and to reflect your powerful (sometimes unrecognised) capacity to inspire.
Because I want to see you succeed – to create the income and impact you need to do your life’s work.
I’ve seen firsthand the amazing things that are possible when people are able to connect and work on a common goal.
And that’s what I want for your business.
Having a purpose is so important. But to create the impact your ideas deserve, you need to value yourself, value your time and value your knowledge.
You need to connect with strategy and authenticity.
